Meet the Team

In virtually every business, the success of the endeavor is dependent upon its people. The success of “Soulful Journeys of Women” is a result of the energy and efforts of Donnice Robinson and Tracey Middlebrooks Wynn.

Donnice and Tracey dreamt of performing since being young women. Growing up, each performed in local theatre and went on to teach and perform in some capacity. Creating "Soulful Journeys of Women" in 2022, allowed them to keep their passions for performance alive.

Donnice and Tracey bring a passion for learning and history to their work. Both women have over 40 years teaching and performing combined. Their goal is to perform for as many people and venues as possible, transforming into historical women, taking on new personas, and capturing the true essence of historical icons with captivating journeys of resilience.

Tracey
Middlebrooks Wynn

Tracey Wynn studied Speech, Communications, and Theatre at Tennessee State University. The theatre has always been a part of her life. Tracey has spent her adult life working in a variety of arenas professionally. However, her passion has always been drawn toward working with youth and encouraging creative expression. It is her goal to develop a program where youth can present their life experiences through film productions. While living in Brooklyn, New York, Tracey produced and directed a weekly television show for the Brooklyn Community Access Station (BCAT). The show "Around Our Way" focused on the happenings in the Historical Fort Greene section of Brooklyn. Her love of Theatre and History has allowed her to work with the Indiana Historical Society. There she was able to portray the iconic Madam C.J. Walker, the first self-made female millionaire in America. The impetus to co-found Soulful Journeys of Women came as a result of having this opportunity. Tracey plans to continue expressing herself artistically through historical character portrayals.
